Built in Iowa. Proven at scale. Now pointed at AI.
How Simple Power was born
One operator, one process, refined until it scaled.

Simple Power begins with Adam Haynes. He built Simple Mining himself, with no playbook, no outside sponsor, and no institutional capital behind him. Then he spent years running the same infrastructure process over and over until it was genuinely good: how a site gets sourced, how power gets contracted, how a pad gets poured, how machines get racked, monitored, repaired, and kept online. Every efficiency in that process was found the hard way, on a live site, with a customer waiting. It is the process that now powers Bitcoin mining infrastructure across the state of Iowa, and it is the reason Simple Power exists.
Simple Mining was built in Iowa in 2021, without a dollar of outside equity. It runs at an industrial scale: operations, repair, logistics and warehouse, customer support, software development, energy and site development. It was built by doing the little things right, by underpromising, overdelivering, and taking care of the customer, and it has been a profitable business from day one. Simple Mining is a tremendous business, and now we are expanding what we work on to include AI.
What compounds fastest in this business is not equipment. It is trust. Adam and the Simple Mining leadership team have spent years in the same rooms as the county boards, the landowners, the co-ops, and the utilities that decide whether a megawatt gets delivered or gets queued, and they have been the kind of neighbor those rooms want back. That standing is why we can move on land and interconnection while others are still looking for an introduction, and it is what makes Simple Power a genuinely useful partner for a company entering the AI space that needs real infrastructure support behind an active pipeline of megawatt capacity.
What we run on
Five values, held in public
They are not wall art. They are the values that decide how we behave when a schedule slips or a number moves.
- Grit
- We give the extra rep, especially when it's easier not to. The muscle we protect as we scale.
- Neighborly
- We treat customers, communities, and each other the way good neighbors do.
- Transparency
- We communicate early and often. Our numbers, our progress, and our mistakes, before anyone has to ask.
- Overdeliver
- We promise carefully, then deliver more than we promised, every time.
- Velocity
- We act with urgency and move in days, not quarters. Speed is how we win.
Where that leaves us
Poised to launch, not planning to.
Operating capacity, contracted pipeline, and substation capacity that already exists. The hard part is behind the schedule, not in front of it.
